Late last year, a friend of mine asked me to create a black and white traditional portrait of her son. At the time, we had JUST moved, literally within days, into our newly renovated home, and my studio was in complete shambles as we moved into the house! Even though I couldn’t do the portrait for her before her husband’s birthday (it was to be his gift!), my interest was peaked, and as soon as I was set up I started experimenting with my own in-house model, James.
When I realized just how gorgeous these portraits were, and how much I treasured my new traditional portrait of my own daughter, I knew I needed to offer this type of session to my clients! The results are beautiful and timeless. There’s an heirloom-quality to these images. Something about them just feels so priceless, and I know they’ll hang in my clients’ homes for many many years to come.
I can’t wait to share a few of my most recent Vignette Portrait galleries in the coming weeks! Here’s a peek at the Bertalan sisters’ gallery. Aren’t these two precious? While I will always love the classic black and white, these little ladies look absolutely precious in their color portraits as well.
