Sweet Francie was the last baby to come through my studio in 2024!
At 4 weeks old, she was 10 pounds of pure squish, and I couldn’t get enough of her adorable chubby cheeks and perfect rolls! At 4 weeks old, she had filled out so deliciously by the time we did her studio newborn session. Sometimes waiting until baby is just a little bit older is the perfect thing!
This session was part of my “Simply Baby” Newborn Session offering, which is a baby only newborn session I offer in my studio. The simplicity of these sessions allows the baby’s unique features and personality to shine without any distractions. Held in my Greenville, SC studio, these sessions are peaceful, serene, and completely tailored to capturing timeless portraits of your baby in their first few weeks of life. During Francie’s session, I focused on creating classic and timeless images that her family will treasure for years to come. The neutral tones and soft textures I always use allow all of her beautiful features to be the focal point of the images. Whether she was snoozing peacefully or giving the tiniest hints of a smile, every frame is filled with her charm and personality.
One of the best parts of my job is knowing that these portraits will become part of a family’s legacy. As Francie grows, her parents and siblings will have these photos to look back on and remember the days when she was just 10 pounds of perfection. It’s amazing to think that one day, Francie herself will see these images and get a glimpse of how deeply she was loved from the very start.
I’m already looking forward to watching Francie grow and documenting more milestones for her family. It’s always a joy to see my tiniest clients return to the studio, each one growing and changing in such beautiful ways. For now, though, I’ll hold onto the sweet memories of Francie’s “Simply Baby” session—a celebration of new life, pure and simple.
