Sweet Henry came in to celebrate his first birthday milestone with an Heirloom Portrait session. I LOVE photographing babies at this age for this session type. It makes for such a special heirloom and keepsake when littles are making the transition from baby to toddler.

Maren & Coast are a part of my First Year Collective membership. This membership includes 3 milestone sessions. The first, a newborn session capturing all the tiny details of your brand new baby (or babies in their case!), then a milestone “sitter” session when little ones are old enough to sit independently (which is what this session is!), and a final capstone session to mark one whole YEAR and celebrate baby’s first birthday.

Sweet Charlie came to see me in my Greenville, SC studio all the way from the South Carolina coast! I’m always honored when families go to great lengths to come for their portrait session. I take so much pride in doing really high quality work, and to me, this shows me that my clients really value and can SEE how much joy and love and perfection I put into my work.

Walker was a little over two weeks old for his lifestyle newborn session in his Greenville, SC home. It was a beautiful, sunny March morning and I loved finally meeting the sweet baby boy whose arrival I’d been anticipating since we did his maternity session in Falls Park.

Sweet George travelled in from Augusta, GA for his session, and I’m so glad he made the trip with his family! His range of expressions was truly incredible, and he is clearly a joyful and happy little baby.

Sweet Storie is 2 years old and came to see me for her heirloom portrait session. Her mom wasn’t sure if she’d be able to sit still for her session, but I assured her it’s rare I don’t get what I need. Storie showed out, and gave us the most precious range of expressions! I love the mix of smiles and serious faces her mama chose, and especially love that sweet profile image.

Mary Claire came for her heirloom portrait session, and was being the most ADORABLE little photo subject and loving the camera. When we finished capturing her Heirloom Portraits, her mom said “oh man, now I really wish we’d added on the Lifestyle option!”

Mary Collins came to see me for her heirloom portrait sitting at 18 months old! As a gradutate of my “First Year Collective”, I’ve been watching her grow since the VERY beginning when she was just a few weeks old.

I cannot wait to meet the baby boy in this belly very soon! I’ve been working in my Greenville, SC studio so much and haven’t gotten outside to photograph a session in YEARS. What a refreshing change of pace to explore Falls Park with these two parents-to-be for their maternity session.

Anne Katherine came to see me at 3 years old and I LOVED getting to know her adorable and expressive little personality. We had so much fun in the studio. Three is a really adorable age for portraits, as evidenced by Anne Katherine’s adorable portraits below.

Drew was such a sweetie for his heirloom portrait sitting! He is two years old, which is a precious age to capture this style of portrait. Still so little, but that toddler and younc child look is emerging quickly! We did a beautiful deckled edge frame that went home just this week, and I know his parents will treasure that forever. I look forward to photographing his baby brother in a couple of years!

Sweet Luca came to see me to celebrate his first birthday with a session in my Greenville, SC studio! First year sessions are one of my favorites to capture. At this first year milestone so much little personality is emerging, yet we still capture so much of that sweet tender baby you’ve been getting to know for a whole YEAR!
