Oh these babies, or “The Cuties” as their 5 year old big sister so accurately calls them!
Maren & Coast are a part of my First Year Collective membership. This membership includes 3 milestone sessions. The first, a newborn session capturing all the tiny details of your brand new baby (or babies in their case!), then a milestone “sitter” session when little ones are old enough to sit independently (which is what this session is!), and a final capstone session to mark one whole YEAR and celebrate baby’s first birthday. Not only do I love the series of images created as part of this membership, but I love how deeply I get to know families and little ones over the course of this very special year. Watching your little ones and your entire family grow is one of the greatest joys of doing this work, and it’s always an honor to be invited back over the years to capture the beauty of your babies achieving all their milestones and morphing into the people they are. I’ve loved watching their big sister grow since her first birthday (check out our most recent session, a personality style portrait session, here!), and now I’m thrilled to be capturing her baby brother and sister.
Maren and Coast were so much fun to have in the studio for their twin photography session – and so smiley! Not a single head swap needed to get these two babies smiling into the camera at the same time, although I do love seeing the differences in their personalities. Coast, the laid-back charmer, and Maren, the thoughtful observer with a radiant smile, each brought their own magic to the session. We caught Maren on a very smiley day and I’m so thrilled with how their special milestone session photos turned out!
I’m grateful for the memories to come capturing these two beautiful babies! I can only imagine how challenging twin parent life is, but I’ll never get over the absolute miracle of twins!
