When it comes to babies, they say one is fun, two is work and three is insanity, but I can’t help but disagree…Three is absolutely beautiful, as evidenced by this gorgeous session with the Roberts family just 5 days after their newest family member, baby Benjamin, made his entrance into this world!
Big brother Jonah and big sister Charlotte were so proud of showing off their new baby brother, and were more than happy to smother him in kisses and show off his dark head of hair, and sweet little nose. I loved watching these little ones interact so lovingly with their mom and dad, each other and their baby brother.
This past weekend was absolutely gorgeous. There is nothing better than those first few days of fall when the air is cool, the mornings are crisp, and the changing of the seasons is upon us. Fall is absolutely my favorite season, and I am just so glad it’s here.
I got to enjoy the amazing weather we had this past weekend out at the Furman Rose Garden with Laura Anne and her boys Lee and Will. We spent some time exploring the garden, then went to see the ducks down by the water! The dreamy light and colors in their photographs are a major reason why I love this time of year. Aren’t they gorgeous?
I spent one of the last few Summer evenings of the year in downtown’s Falls Park with the Rickman’s last week, and we had so much fun exploring with Callie (4) and Ellie (2). These sisters are so darn sweet to each other, and were all about giving hugs and admiring the flowers together as we made our way through the park.
While I am SO excited for Fall and all it brings (hello pumpkin everything, gorgeous light and leaves, and oh… the arrival of our baby!), it was so fun to get in one more session in the summer sunlight. Aren’t these guys gorgeous!? I think so too!
This is the second year I’ve been able to document the Warfield family, and my goodness how sweet it has been to watch Emerson grow!! She was just a tiny little babe at our shoot last Fall, and I can vividly remember our mid-session Cheerio break at last year’s session. She was very happy to share with everyone! If last year’s session was the “Year of the Cheerio” this year was the “Year of the Swinging Between Mom and Dad.” So sweet!
I recently had the opportunity to snap senior portraits for this gorgeous girl, and we had so much fun exploring downtown Greenville finding some fun, unique spots for her photos.
Sarah is just about to go into her last semester at USC, and is also in the process of starting her graphic design business, and applying for jobs. This is a girl after my own heart – her entrepreneurial spirit at such a young age is so amazing, and I love that she wanted photos that would set her apart from her peers. It was important to her that we also include her pup, Freida, in some of the photos, and she totally rocked the shoot in her bow that matched her mama’s outfit.

In home lifestyle sessions are quickly becoming one of my very favorites, and I so enjoyed meeting baby Luke and his proud parents this June.
Luke’s gender was a surprise until the day he was born, and his mom and dad prepared the most BEAUTIFUL gender neutral nursery in anticipation of his arrival. They used beautiful shades of gray and white, put their sweat and love into painting furniture and a gorgeous striped accent wall, and decorated his walls with the sweetest baby animal art prints. His little nursery is so cozy, and such a sweet place for him to come home to!
Have you heard the news? Our sweet little family is growing this November! We are so grateful for the sweet baby girl that is growing in my belly. Our daughter, Harper James Malone, is due to arrive by this Thanksgiving, and we are over the moon. God is so good, and we are grateful to Him for His perfect timing and the blessing of this sweet child.
