This family invited me into their brand new home shortly after baby Brooks came home from the hospital. It isn’t always easy to adjust to your new role as a big brother or sister, but big brother Beckett was so loving and affectionate towards his baby brother. It didn’t hurt that he got a chocolate […]

This session was given as a baby shower gift to this family, and I just love how thoughtful that is! Baby Cam was born this past January, and was just the sweetest little newborn. His grandmother was there for our session and had so many sweet little hats and clothes for him. You could see […]

I had the honor of photographing Miss Isabella Grace at just 5 days old. This session was particularly special to me, because this little babe was present at my own daughters birth just a few months ago. How can that be? Because her mama is the incredibly talented Sabrina Fields, who was our birth photographer for James’ arrival. Isabella was nestled safe in her mamas belly for the 15 hours Sabrina was with us to document her James’ birth – how cool is that!?

In celebration of the fact that it is BABY MONTH and that we are officially full term at 37 weeks, I wanted to share a tour of our baby girl’s little nursery. I have had so much fun putting this room together, and often find myself just standing in the room admiring her little things, and soaking in the smell of Dreft and fresh diapers. Gosh, those smells are just so good.

When it comes to babies, they say one is fun, two is work and three is insanity, but I can’t help but disagree…Three is absolutely beautiful, as evidenced by this gorgeous session with the Roberts family just 5 days after their newest family member, baby Benjamin, made his entrance into this world!

Big brother Jonah and big sister Charlotte were so proud of showing off their new baby brother, and were more than happy to smother him in kisses and show off his dark head of hair, and sweet little nose. I loved watching these little ones interact so lovingly with their mom and dad, each other and their baby brother.

In home lifestyle sessions are quickly becoming one of my very favorites, and I so enjoyed meeting baby Luke and his proud parents this June.

Luke’s gender was a surprise until the day he was born, and his mom and dad prepared the most BEAUTIFUL gender neutral nursery in anticipation of his arrival. They used beautiful shades of gray and white, put their sweat and love into painting furniture and a gorgeous striped accent wall, and decorated his walls with the sweetest baby animal art prints. His little nursery is so cozy, and such a sweet place for him to come home to!

Earlier this year I had the opportunity to photograph Keenan’s first birthday, and now just a few months later I was invited back into their home to document the first few days of the newest family addition, baby Henry, in all of his 5 day old goodness. Kasia and her family are moving out of […]

Ahh, the in home newborn session. Gosh, my friends. I can’t decide which is sweeter… capturing newborns in their first few days in the hospital, or capturing these sweet babies in the first few days at home as they settle in to life as a new family. I couldn’t pick a favorite if you made me, and […]
